Toronto–Vancouver (The Canadian)

Train 1: Revised schedule between Dec 13, 2020 and May 15, 2021: the Canadian is operating once per week between Winnipeg and Vancouver.

The Manitoba government recently announced that as of January 29, 2021, the province will be tightening its borders and ordering all incoming travellers to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival. Customers travelling to Manitoba are asked to keep themselves informed of any changes and exemptions to provincial travel restrictions that may apply to them. Updates are available on the Government of Manitoba’s website.
Jasper-Prince Rupert

VIA’s Jasper-Prince Rupert route in Economy class provides at seat service that offers a selection of snacks and sandwiches at affordable prices. We will not be able to accommodate special dietary needs at this time and passengers with food restrictions are asked to plan accordingly.
Touring class will not be available for 2021.

Winnipeg – Churchill

Due to the uncertainty with the COVID situation, we have suspended service in Sleeper Plus Class on the Winnipeg-Churchill train until May 15, 2021. Reservations in Economy Class remain valid. VIA’s Winnipeg- Churchill route in Economy class provides at seat cart service that offers a selection of snacks and sandwiches at affordable prices. We will not be able to accommodate special dietary needs at this time and passengers with food restrictions are asked to plan accordingly.
